You've seen me post up about the soiled dove and "you-night". Well if you still haven't come down, now you must haha.
may 5th, the soiled dove will play host to the Heiruspecs.
If you've never heard of these cats, check out www.heiruspecs.com, they even have some tunes you can download. These guys are two mc's and a LIVE band (drums, bass, lead, and keyboard) that put together a dope dope show.
I was able to catch their show last time they were hear and i have to say it was one of the best live shows I've seen, honestly.
Not only that, but just like all the other "you-nights" they'll have other guest dj's/mc's/groups all through the night, still for only the price of $5!!
Your getting a national act that's opend for groups like: Jurassic 5, The Coup, Sage Francis, Aesop Rock, The White Stripes, Typical Cats, Mason Jennings, Blonde Redhead, Anti-Pop Consortium, David Cross, Busta Rhymes, etc, PLUS all your other local hip hop needs haha.
Doors open around 8:30, and last time the place was packed by 9 for these guys, so you might wanna get there on time.
