I snagged a flier for an upcoming DJ competition and indoor go carting event that's coming up Sunday, May 4.
Here's the info:
It's listed as "The indoor go-cart, Emcee & B. Boy battle experience" over at TBC Indoor Track Racing, (I-70 and Colorado Blvd).
There are prizes:
3-on-3 B.Boy battle: $400
16 Emcee Royal Rumble: $100
Graffiti Sketch Battle: $50 + Paint
The cost is $10 at the door, times are from 11am-10pm. The battle starts at 5 pm.
There'll also be a special one night only discounted racing rate!!
For those of you that have never been to TBC, it's an indoor go-carting facility with carts that travel 35+ mph. It doesn't sound like much until you realize that you're around an inch off of the floor and will be taking hairpin turns flat out at speed. Weak folks will need to work on their arms prior to participating.... :lol:
Anyways, it's an awesome experience that everyone should try to do at least once. I've personally never been to a DJ battle there, so it'll be new to me as well....however, carting and slamming music sounds like an awesome time!!
