94 BPU Supra Vs 199? Lincoln Mark VIII

funny shit, me and titus were just cruisin around on 120th today, we see a lincoln mark viii piped, i was just cruisin up past him when he guns it, so i let him go... then he slows down again so i said fuck and and roasted him. then he keeps on pulling up and trying to race again, he was comin up to me had it floored, once he got right next to me i slammed on the gas and still pulled 6 cars on him.. i figured he would get the point.. so heres where it gets good, he pulls up next to us at the next light and sais, " hey im gonna hit the NAWS this time ok?" titus just looked at him for about 15 seconds speechless... then he said.. "ok" and we just laughed our asses off. i thought it was hilarious, so then he pulled off instead of "hittin his NAWS" lol


gave me my laugh for the day.

and did you read ? i did race from a roll, he had it pegged, me idling in 3rd gear, when he was just about to blow past me i hit the gas and pulled 6 cars in 3rd gear. if we raced from a roll he would have looked like he was going backwards. and he would have needed at least a 150 shot to keep up.

Yeah, I remember seeing a markVIII today while eating lunch at the chipotle on 120th and Washington. We were on the patio at around 12:00. It had some loud pipes straight out, and I think it was a dark color blue or green, honestly can't recall, but it did have a really good sound! I seen a supra too, orange, some where up north.

3rd gear in the mkiv is where things start to happen real fast. 1st and 2nd were pretty much useless for me - just wheelspin. Once I got into 3rd there wasn't much of anything on the road that had a chance. Besides another single turbo supra, of course. :)

i dont know what that guy was thinkin... i think id need to run up against a v8 stang, charged, with cams and other bolt ons to take the supra in a roll on.. talkin bout a stock v8 lincoln with 2 big loud ass pipes... even with n2o he had no chance.

Whoa, when did you get juiced? Haha, but seriously I'd be up for some roll-on racin' action. I won't use the bottle, so it should be real close. We're built pretty much the same since my SAFC isn't tuned yet (still the stock fuel-curve). The FMIC is the only difference, since high-miles doesn't seem to phase the almighty 2jz! LOL.

As far as Stangs go, they're ALL OVER the place as far as power. For example: I've raced at least three blown stangs all mid-90's models and supercharged. They all had different mods. I've smoked one (Maroon, it was a beating), and it had TONS of bolt-ons. I've been smoked by another one (Red, he had EVERYTHING, built motor, and a Huge blower), and have been dead on EVEN with another (Silver, vortech and some bolt-ons).

So you NEVER know, they vary so much...

Yep, it WAS in Westy, last year. Very stock looking silver GT. Him and his friend pulled up to me on my way home (Northbound on Wads, just north of 88th). They wanted to race on some road up there, west of Wads. We tried two pulls. First time, we were DEAD on even, even after shifts. Second time, he pulled ahead at first because I didn't brake-boost, but he didn't walk away. They were both very surprised that it was even. I'm wondering if he was really telling the truth about his "basic" mods. I'm also curious how many pounds he's pushing on his Vortech. Kid seemed nice enough. They wanted me to join their "race club" after those runs, but I never really saw either one again...

This was on my old beatup clutch and no FMIC, so I'd like to run him again.

Actually I was....then my boss felt bad and gave me a big phat raise. I was selling the Supra because Lindsay and I are expecting a baby in September. I just wanted to make sure the funds were there in advance for whatever we needed. However, with this raise, it will not be necessary now. I still contemplate selling it, but Lindsay has asked me not too. For once in my life I found a woman who wants me to have toys and enjoy myself. We are super excited about the baby. I am just not sure if I will have time to enjoy the Supra after the baby is born. The baby will be my pride and joy, no longer the car. Maybe I will just let it sit there and have it as a side hobby. Only time will tell.
